Through his education and experience, Dr. Balch has developed a unique holistic approach to medical treatment that encompasses not only direct treatment of acute and/or chronic pain, but also a full scale of aesthetic therapies, including cosmetic laser therapy, pharmaceutical grade skin care products, cosmetic Botox, and nutrition. Dr. Balch attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. He completed residency training in the specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He then completed an ACGME accredited fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he served as Chief Fellow and was awarded the esteemed “Pain Fellow of the Year” by the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. During his fellowship, he worked closely with internationally recognized experts in headache pain, spine and pelvic pain. Dr. Balch is an accomplished author and has published several papers in Scientific Journals including “Ultrasound Guided Intrathecal Baclofen Trials: A Case series”, and Extended Release Morphine Sulfate in Treatment of Severe Acute and Chronic Pain. Dr. Balch’s experience as a pain management specialist has fostered an understanding that one must treat the whole person by incorporating the mind, body and spirit. The patient must feel good about themselves as a whole person in order to achieve the best level of health. Thus, Dr. Balch is proud to offer a full scale of aesthetic therapies to his pain management practice which includes cosmetic laser therapy, pharmaceutical grade skin care products, facials, microdermabrasion, Botox and dermal filler injections.
Dr. Cayli Balch received a Bachelor of Arts with honors from the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas. During her undergraduate studies, she developed a passion for science, travel and exploring new cultures while studying abroad in Rome, Italy. She went on to receive a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas, where she felt the holistic approach to patient care by helping integrate the patient into the health care process was best suited to her philosophy. Her post-graduate training included serving as co-chief intern with the Department of Medicine at Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth where she helped coordinate her class to assist with evacuees from New Orleans at a Hurricane Katrina Medical Relief Post set up in Fort Worth. She completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the #1 ranked Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago associated with Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois where she served as coordinating contributing editor for Rehab in Review-Association of Academic Physiatrists and received the RIC Scholl Recognition Award for Rehabilitation Research. Her professional experiences include working as an instructor for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation for Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois and performing electrodiagnostic testing for the Brown Hand Center. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Dr. Balch strives to promote healthcare excellence by serving as a guiding partner in her patient’s medical journey. Thus, Dr. Balch is proud to offer a full scale of aesthetic therapies which includes cosmetic laser therapy, pharmaceutical grade skin care products, facials, microdermabrasion, Botox and dermal filler injections.
Dr. Joshua Balch attended Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica and completed the majority of his clinical clerkships in New York City. He then completed his internship at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA in general surgery. After his surgical internship, Dr. Balch completed his residency training in the specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital located in Wheaton, IL. He then completed his pain fellowship at the Pain and Headache Center in Wasilla, Alaska. While in Alaska, he trained underneath an internationally recognized expert in interventional pain medicine, Dr. Trescot who continues to be a valuable mentor post fellowship. His main area of focus during his fellowship includes spinal and musculoskeletal pain, abdominal pain, peripheral nerve entrapments and regenerative therapy.
Donna is an educator and skin care specialist she directs and navigates the medical skin care professional through cutting edge training to raise the bar of skin care within the clinical and medical environment. She has been practicing clinical esthetics for over 18 years, and her experience with the education industry and medical profession is well established. She is a licensed Medical Assistant, Medical Aesthetician, Professional Laser technician and Educator. She was honored in 2003 as an industry leader by the American Aesthetics Education Association (AAEA) and served as a national board member. She is regarded as one of the pioneering forces in the esthetics industry. Her passion and ability to deliver results has inspired many individuals to enter the aesthetic and laser industry and now specializes in lasers and skin care at Balch Interventional.
